Cyndi Zacheis, Moonlighting Quilts

BioCyndi Zacheis is an award-winning quilt artist whose work has been displayed at the International Quilt Association Festival in Houston, the Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival, the Quilt Odyssey, and other quilt shows. Her quilts have also appeared in numerous books by other quilters and artists. Cyndi teaches in quilt shops, at quilt guilds, and at quilt shows, including the International Quilt Festival in Houston, TX. Her classes include surface design, machine quilting, design, and an ongoing series of art quilt classes. Cyndi’s book, Creating Celebration Quilts, features a worksheet that guides you through the process of creating personal, meaningful celebration quilts and lots of examples to inspire you. Much of her work involves creating celebration quilts for clients. In addition to her own book, Cyndi has written for Quilter’s Home and Machine Quilting Unlimited magazines, and Quilting Quarterly. She co-founded two art quilt challenges: Power Suits and Arts & Old Lace, both of which were traveling exhibits.
